Please join us in the first annual Swim for Sarcoma!
June 22nd, 2019

What is Sarcoma? They are tumors that occur in the nerves, muscles and bones throughout the body. In children ages 10-20, Sarcoma makes up about 20-25% of cancer diagnoses. Our swim team chose Sarcoma because July is Sarcoma Awareness Month and our swim season runs primarily through the months of June and July.

Event will include:

A competitive swimming event where swimmers will be placed into gender and age group categories and can pick between the following events:
  • 100 Meter Race
  • 200 Meter Race
  • 400 Meter Race
  • 800 Meter Race
It will also include a 50/50 raffle
Gift basket raffles (TYR & Arena swim gear, biking gear, Trigger Point Roller...)
Concessions will also be available

Where do the proceeds go?

Half of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to help people who are battling Sarcoma. The other half will benefit Mifflinburg's Summer Swim Team, to help keep registration costs down and to give the kids more time in the water during practice.
